From the NORTH:
I-95 South to I-85 South to15-501 By-pass South
Follow signs to Chapel Hill
Road will fork, stay to the Left (15-501 NOT Franklin St.)
At the sixth light…..
Left onto Old Mason Farm Rd.
Finley Field is the first LEFT after the Ronald McDonald House
Please park on the RIGHT in the gravel lot across from the fields
From the WEST:
I-40 East to Exit 273A— Route 54 (towards Chapel Hill)
Take a right off the exit
Go to the fifth traffic light
Left onto Old Mason Farm Rd. at Aurora’s Restaurant (Signs for Finley Golf Course)
Right at stop sign
Finley Fields are on your right
Please park on the LEFT in the gravel lot across from the fields
From the EAST:
I-40 West to
Exit 273A—Route 54 (towards Chapel Hill)
Follow above directions from the West
From the SOUTH:
I-85 North to
I-40 West to Exit 273A—Route 54 (towards Chapel Hill)
Follow above directions from the West
PUMPKIN SHOOTOUT Important info:
- Parking will be tight...arrive early to allow time to find a spot...or even better: try to carpool!!!!
- Pets are not allowed at Finley Fields.
- Feel free to set up a tent for your team.
- Personal (team) grills are not allowed at Finley Fields.
- Spectators should bring chairs as there are no bleachers at Finley Fields.
- There will be a full concession stand on site with burgers, hot dogs, pizza, drinks, fruit, and snacks.
- Please encourage your team to support the concession stand as the proceeds help keep the costs of future Blast events down (Carolina Blast is a non profit organization) AND with parking so limited, it will be hard to come and go...
- Long Sleeve Pumpkin Shootout t-shirts will be sold for $15...supply is limited and we are unable to re-order this year so if your players want one they should purchase it upon arrival. Available sizes: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL. Logo pictured below...
- Team reps can reserve PS t-shirts for your players via email to colleen@blastlax.com by Thursday (Oct 20) with TEAM T-SHIRT ORDER in subject line. Include team name, quantity and size breakdown. Reserved TEAM t-shirt orders can be paid for in total and picked up at the registration table by the team rep at check in.
- There will be many great raffle items on display in the pavilion...the drawing for all prizes will take place at 2 pm and winning tickets will be posted in the pavilion at that time. Tickets are $1 OR $10 for an arm’s length OR $20 for a Pumpkin Shootout t-shirt and an arm’s length of tickets.
- NEW THIS YEAR!!!! All brackets winners will receive the Pumpkin Shootout 2011 medal pictured on the website! The HS Championship team will receive a Pumpkin Shootout hoodie by Harrow Sports.
- As always, Battle Lacrosse of Cary will be on site with a great selection of equipment and apparel!
- Harrow Sports will be there with with a display of their latest and greatest women’s lacrosse products.
