Dave Kintzer - Director, Coaches & Competition - Wilmington, NC. Dave brings over 40 years of Lacrosse experience to Coastal Carolina LAX. Dave was a 1972 Letter Winner for the storied 1972 Cornell University Big Red Lacrosse Team where the Big Red went 6-0 in the Ivy League for their third-straight season and won its fifth-straight Ivy League title, where he also earned his law degree.. Dave is the Head Lacrosse Coach at Eugene Ashley High School. Dave is an active Lacrosse player for Cape Fear Men's Lacrosse Club Team..
George LeCompte - Director, Organization - Carolina Beach, NC. George brings over 25 years of business management and financial experience. He owns two successful businesses in Wilmington. George also has an extensive sports background as a player and coach. George has coached youth sports for over 11 years focusing on modeling winning philosophies, building good character on the field and sportsmanship. A graduate from the University of Nebraska where he played football for the Cornhuskers under Tom Osborne between 1982-85, they won their 3rd and 4th consecutive Big-8 Conference Championships, 2nd and 3rd undefeated Conference Seasons and competed in an Orange Bowl, 2 Sugar Bowls and 1 Fiesta Bowl. The Huskers record during this perios was 43 Wins & 7 Losses.
Susan Tillier- Director, Girls Organization - WIlmington, NC. Susan is an energetic leader of girls lacrosse in New Hanover County. She is the Head Coach for Cape Fear Academy Varsity Girls Lacrosse and Field Hockey. She started playing lacrosse in 6th grade, continued in high school at Unionville High School, and continued at Duke University. Susan played both field hockey and lacrosse in her Duke freshmen and sophomore years. Lacrosse was not yet a varsity sport at that time but she continued to play Varsity Field Hockey for the remaining two years, and was captain of the team as a senior. While living in Japan, she organized a lacrosse exchange program between St. Pauls School and Waseda University, bringing lacrosse to the Japanese University for the first time. After several years away from the game, she is thrilled to be coaching and again working with the youth in this wonderful sport.
Beau McCaffray - Director, Girls Organization - WIlmington, NC. Beau is a long-time Lacrosse leader in New Hanover County. McCaffray was a founding member of the North Carolina Lacrosse Foundation (which is now the North Carolina Chapter of US Lacrosse) in 1987 and sat on the Lacrosse Foundation Board of Directors from 1988 to 1990. He has also been a coordinator of New Hanover County Schools’ (NHCS) middle school boys’ lacrosse program since 1990 and in 2002, he was awarded a grant to start girls’ lacrosse in NHCS middle schools. In 1995, the U.S. Lacrosse Coaches’ Association named McCaffray "Lacrosse Man of the Year" for North Carolina. McCaffray has not only sat on, but co-founded, numerous councils, committees and boards that serve to grow the sport of lacrosse. He was an integral part in founding the BRIDGE committee, governed by the US Lacrosse Youth Council. He is also an avid lacrosse coach for both the boys’ and girls’ game. In 2000 he served as the New Hanover High School High School boys’ varsity lacrosse coach. He served as the Laney High School girls’ varsity lacrosse head coach in 2007.
